Watch My Baby

Best baby tracker apps in 2026

Last updated: 25 October 2026

There is no single best baby tracker; pick the one that does the job you need. For feeding and diaper logs, Huckleberry, Baby Daybook, Nara Baby and Baby Tracker cover the basics. For nap timing, look at Napper, Whispie (free for 3 days, then paid) or Huckleberry's paid SweetSpot. Watch My Baby, which we make, focuses on sleep training, solid foods and an assistant that answers from your baby's records.

We make Watch My Baby. Everything about the other apps comes from their App Store descriptions, read on 25 October 2026; we have not used each one for long. Features and prices change, so check the store page before you download.

"Not stated" means the app's store description does not mention it, not that the app lacks it. We make Watch My Baby; the order is not a ranking.

What should you look for in a baby tracker?

Logging in one or two taps

You will log at 3 a.m. with a baby in one arm. If starting a feed takes more than a tap or two, the app gets dropped in a week.

Free sharing with your partner

A shared log ends the "did she eat?" question. Some apps share for free, some only on a subscription.

Nap timing you can check

Wake windows by age are a starting point. Prediction features differ in what they learn from and whether they are paid.

A clear free tier

Free logging with paid analysis is normal. Basic logging behind a paywall is not a good sign.

Where your data lives

This is your baby's health data. Prefer apps that publish a privacy policy and let you export or delete your records.

Each app in brief

Watch My Babywe make this

We build this app. Sleep timer and wake windows, a day-by-day sleep training program with five methods, cry analysis, a solid-food guide with 280+ foods up to 36 months and nine-allergen tracking, WHO growth charts, and Turkey's official vaccine schedule with reminders. The assistant answers from your baby's own records.

Paid: The assistant, cry and photo analysis, food safety checks, recipe adaptation and bedtime stories run on credits, which come with Premium or in credit packs. The full sleep sound library needs Premium.

Good to know: No breastfeeding, bottle or diaper log, and no partner sharing yet. The vaccine schedule is Turkey's only.

Good to know: The App Store lists English only.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best free baby tracker app?

It depends on what you need. For free feeding, sleep and diaper logging, Huckleberry's free version is broad and includes caregiver sync. Baby Daybook, Nara Baby and Baby Tracker are also free to download. Try two for a week and keep the one that takes the least effort.

Which baby tracker predicts naps?

Napper is built around nap prediction. Huckleberry's SweetSpot (paid Plus), Baby Daybook's nap forecast, Whispie's next sleep time (free for 3 days, then paid) and Baby Tracker's What's Next cues (paid Plus after a 3-day preview) also estimate the next nap. Watch My Baby shows wake windows by age and runs a day-by-day sleep training program instead.

Can my partner see the same log?

In most of these apps, yes. Huckleberry syncs caregivers for free, Whispie shares with two people for free, and Napper shares the subscription with every caregiver. Watch My Baby does not offer partner sharing yet.

Do I need a baby tracker app?

No; paper works too. An app helps when two people share the night shift and when the pediatrician asks how often the baby feeds or sleeps. Many families log closely in the first weeks and less once a routine settles.
